Carpets and Upholstery

The Herrins Way

Herrin Enterprises has been providing top quality carpet cleaning to the Upper Valley for over ten years.  Our team is always keeping up with the latest technology in the field so that we can provide you with the best service possible.  We have been cleaning and extracting carpets in both small residential homes as well as large commercial and industrial facilities through out the Upper Valley, utilizing our Truck Mount extraction system.

Area Rugs

Herrins can even collect your smaller rugs (Runner rugs, Oriental rugs, and Area rugs) to bring back to our shop for detailed cleaning, extracting, and drying.  If possible we even dip them in our Ultrasonic tank for a deep thorough clean that can't be achieved with just an extractor.

Water Removal

We also utilize our extraction unit for emergency water removal (flood damage, burst pipes, etc).  After the area is dry we can then go back in and steam clean the area then apply our Bio-Shield method to prevent the growth of mold, fungus, and odor causing elements, making it safe to re-inhabit quickly so that your family or business can return to normal as soon as possible.

Why should you clean and maintain your carpets regularly?

Cleaning your carpets professionally every 4-6 months both promotes a healthier home/work environment but also extends the life and longevity of your carpets.  Being the largest horizontal surface in any building carpets will often collect dust and other allergens that settle as well as dirt from foot traffic.  Even with regular maintenance, such as vacuuming, these allergens and dirt that settle will work their way down into the nap and backing of the carpet to where simple vacuuming will not get to it.  Steaming with high heat helps to break up these particles so that our high power extractor can pull them up and out, the heat also helps to loosen the nap of the carpet allowing greater access to the soil that is embedded in it.  If the carpet is allowed to build up dirt and allergens in the backing and nap, regular foot traffic can lead to abrading and undue wear on the carpet, lessening it life span.
